Using our knowledge of leading access control platforms and related technology, RedCrater can develop integration modules either as extensions to identity management platforms or as a complete custom design solution.
Energy Security Interface (ESI) is an energy management solution which uses a physical security system to control lighting and air-conditioning for optimal energy efficiency. ESI automatically turns lighting and air conditioning on and off based on whether rooms are scheduled to be used or whether rooms are actually occupied, by using Interlogix Facility Commander Wnx or the Gallagher Command Centre Security Platform. It uses a variety of control methods ranging from simple schedule-only control to a combination of scheduled, occupation detection, manual override and security alarm controlled. Efficiency gains of around 50% have been proven at St Peters School Cambridge with return on investment within 14 months.
FCWnx SNMP Monitoring
The SNMP is a software module that allows designated SNMP notifications (from network appliances and servers) to be brought into FCWnx as alarms. The value of this is that if any device that is used for security (such as a switch or server etc.) starts reporting a problem then an alarm can be generated in FCWnx to notify the security operator of the fault. Because SNMP is high volume in terms of transactions we have implemented a filtering system that only allows alarms to be generated that match certain criteria (e.g. only certain ports on a switch).
Login Enforcer uses your physical security system to control PC login so you can rely on your access control platform to restrict access to both work areas and the computers within those areas. Use state of the art high-security devices (such as iris recognition, retina scanners and facial recognition) at the door to also control rights to log on to a computer.
