Physical access control and video

Interlogix (formerly GE Security) has a range of Access Control and Security Products which are sold internationally. RedCrater is the Australasian software development technology partner for two of these products; Forcefield and Facility Commander Wnx.

We can develop solutions which enhance these products including; integration with HR databases, applications which interface with the event handling of respective systems (such as paging systems), and custom reporting and custom user interface applications.

Access control readers and cards

HID is the world’s largest manufacturer of access control readers and access cards. RedCrater is fully conversant with the HID card and reader technology and can provide fully customised solutions with this technology. However, RedCrater’s primary focus is upon the HID Crescendo Contact and Contactless Smart Card technology which we can supply directly as well as provide custom Smart Card solutions.

Print and copy, imaging, cost recovery

RedCrater works with Canon to provide solutions around their Print and Copy systems and their imaging technology. Canon is the local agent for the uniFLOW Print Control/Cost Recovery System and RedCrater has assisted a number of sites with the integration of uniFLOW with other corporate applications.

Microsoft development partner

RedCrater is a Microsoft Software Development partner that specializes in .Net development and SQL Server technologies. Our focus is on ’industrial strength’ applications that involve Windows Services and real time communications to a range of security devices. We also support a range of client server architectures that implement either legacy communication options (such as TCP or UDP) through to preferred .Net technology such as WCF.

Lenel Systems International, Inc. is a leading provider of software and turnkey security systems for corporate and government markets. The Lenel product suite now includes Facility Commander Wnx, for which RedCrater has developed over 10 add-on applications for a variety of customer worldwide. These include generic products such as web based reporting, through to complex enhancements to core key Facility Commander Wnx features (e.g. integrated Alarm Monitor and Video Player). RedCraters knowledge of the Facility Commander Wnx system is second to none and means we are able to provide virtually any solution based on this system.

Smart card readers

HID Global’s Omnikey contact, contactless and multi-interface readers are designed to support any smart card for any application on any computer. RedCrater is one of the leading suppliers of Omnikey readers in Australasia and are fully conversant with the relevant Omnikey SDKs and programming approaches on different platforms.

Print and copy systems

Fuji Xerox is a supplier of innovative print and copy solutions to corporate and educational institutions. RedCrater can provide Smart Card and Proximity Card integration with the Fuji Xerox devices so that virtually any type of card can be used for cost recovery and print control.

HP partner

Through our HP Developer Solution Partner Program membership we have full access to HP technology and software. This enables us to provide full turnkey solutions when high performance and reliable server computing is required.

Physical access control

Gallagher Command Centre is a feature rich access control system combining all aspects of a physical access control solution from readers through to Windows based control software. Gallagher Command Centre exposes a range of programming interfaces including OPC Events and Alarms, OPC Data Access, Controller API, DVR SDK, as well as XML Import and Export.

RedCrater is fully conversant with these programming interfaces and has built more solutions for customers than any other third party vendor.

Print and copy systems

Ricoh is a proactive supplier of print and copy solutions with a strong focus on sustainability and customer service. RedCrater has worked alongside Ricoh on a number of sites, assisting with integration of Smart Cards with the multifunction devices and printers. We have also assisted Ricoh in providing custom account top-up solutions for Ricoh customers.

Print control devices and cost recovery software

Equitrac supplies software and control devices for cost recovery, and print control for use with virtually any brand of printer/copier. Equitrac comes with a range of utilities and programming tools that allow it to be integrated with other applications and funds based systems. RedCrater can use our knowledge of Equitrac to build additional funds based applications (such as cafeteria payment systems) on top of the Equitrac system, or to streamline the management of user accounts within Equitrac.
